The following forms of research misconduct are strictly prohibited and may result in rejection, retraction, or institutional notification.
Inventing data, results, or records that were never collected or observed.
Manipulating materials, equipment, processes, or data to misrepresent findings.
Using another person's work, ideas, or wording without proper attribution.
Includes duplicate submission, image manipulation, and undisclosed conflicts of interest.
